On April 1st, 2021 we suffered a devastating fire at our sanctuary facility. We lost the lives of many of our beloved animals, who each had beautiful and unique personalities, and who were loved dearly by our staff and volunteers. 

We have a long road ahead as we continue to care for our 300+ surviving residents and begin rebuilding from the ground up.

We have raised $4M so far towards reconstruction, but we still need to raise another $2M. There are so many opportunities for you to get involved in ways that are meaningful and impactful.

How to Contribute

The Phoenix Wall - This symbolic tile mosaic will stand as an artistic remembrance, representing the eternal resilience that springs from loss, love and recovery. Created by those whose major gifts have been instrumental in the reconstruction of the sanctuary, each handcrafted tile in the wall will be unique, bearing the donor's personal message, memorial or commemoration. The Phoenix Wall will stand in the Community Center of our new building.

The Memorial Garden - As we move forward, remembrance and reflection will be healing forces for all of us. Our memorial garden, with its fragrant flowers and gentle water fountain, will bloom each spring, reminding us that life is eternal, and so is love.
