Parrots are messy eaters. In nature, the food they drop feeds the soil and the entire ecosystem. Including these food recyclers in our kitchen and workstations will make it feasible for the “waste” produced by sanctuary residents to contribute to nature in the same way, fertilizing our grounds and gardens.
