After our general contractor completes their work in constructing our new sanctuary, our work will only be beginning. Foster Parrots’ staff have decades of experience in building sanctuary habitats for parrots and in caring for parrots and other exotic wildlife in the sanctuary setting. To reduce costs and to ensure that our vision for the sanctuary will be fully realized, the construction of aviaries, much of the equipment installation, and the outdoor landscape design will be managed directly by Foster Parrots.
The cost of these “Owner Items” amounts to nearly $1M above the $7.4M price tag of the main building construction.
